Janis Jones is a highly skilled and proficient attorney with over 25 years of experience. She is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services and assisting parties with reaching the best outcome. Ms. Jones has served as a mediator for more than 1,500 cases. She specializes in all family law matters, bodily injury cases, property damage, business disputes, landlord/tenant matters and breach of contract.
Janis Jones also has judicial experience having served as a Judge Pro Hac for the State Court of Fayette County. She handled various civil matters including motions, hearings and trials .
Having attended law school at Temple University, she came to Georgia in 1998 and has continued her practice handling cases in various jurisdictions throughout the state. She received her bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Florida. She is also a proud "Mercer Mom" having a daughter who is graduating from Mercer University. She enjoys hiking, reading, museum visits and spending time with family and friends.
